CertaPro Painters of Grand Rapids, MI support Homes for our Troops

Bobby Thrailkill joined the US Marine Corp right after graduating from high school. After training he deployed to Afghanistan. During a patrol in 2010 he stepped on a pressure plate and the IED explosion cost Bobby his legs. A coalition organized by Homes for our Troops built a house for Bobby and his family in Belding Michigan. Our West Michigan CertaPro businesses donated the painting. The groundbreaking was held on Saturday October 25, 2014 with a couple hundred people attending. Pictured at the ground breaking in the center is Bobby Thrailkill and to his right, CertaPro Grand Rapids owner Rob Sligh. Bobby is an inspiration, not only for his service in Afghanistan but also for the courageous way he’s meeting the challenges of everyday life.
